To both the contributors of the Anchor Foundation and the administrators of the Jessica Marie Tisak Memorial Scholarship, I am very thankful for your support! My name is Alyssa, I’m a rising sophomore from San Diego, CA studying biology at the University of Notre Dame. Unfortunately, I cannot express my gratitude in person at the awards presentation, but this award means so much to me. At its core, this scholarship is the gift of opportunity. The contribution is a key support of my pursuit of higher education at the institution that I’ve always dreamed of attending. I am so happy to be able to take full advantage of the academic, career, and extracurricular opportunities that Notre Dame has to offer.
