I would like to express my genuine gratitude towards receiving this award and the importance of what it means to me. I am a dependent to my role model father, who is not only an inspiration to any who he comes in contact with, but serves our country with an immense amount of pride. He is a natural giver, helping me pave the way to achieving my dreams through funding my undergraduate years. Being a recipient of this award means that I can help contribute to the great financial burden that college has on a family, especially when my family has given everything to make sure I could attend my prestigious and quite expensive university. Taking that into consideration, I take an immense amount of pride to being considered for this award.
