I am incredibly honored to be selected by the Anchor Scholarship Foundation for the Billy Hurly III endowed scholarship. Billy Hurley III’s commitment to service and community is a constant reminder that success is not just about personal achievement, but also about giving back.
Receiving this scholarship will allow me to continue my academic career without the added stress of a financial burden and focus solely on my studies without being required to assume a part-time job in college. It allows me to continue working towards a future where I can give back to others just as this scholarship has given back to me. Because of this support, I am more motivated than ever to pursue my career in pediatric food therapy, where I can use my talents to give back to my community and help others in the way that Bill Hurley III has helped me.
