I am entering my senior year at Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi. It has been a long journey, but after this year, I will graduate with a degree in English and Public Relations, as well as a minor in AI Literacy. I intend to pursue a master’s degree following the completion of my undergraduate studies, and I hope to work in ministry, helping to spread hope and light to others through communication, service, and truth.

I have three younger brothers, one of whom is preparing to graduate high school this year. The Anchor Scholarship helps lift the financial weight of tuition, not just from my shoulders, but from my family’s as well, as we look ahead to college expenses for my brothers. This award allows me to spend more time honing my craft, so that when I step into the professional world, I can show up with excellence and make meaningful contributions to society.
