I am so thankful for your generosity for selecting me to receive this scholarship from the Anchor Foundation. It means a lot to be selected for this one scholarship in particular because of how being a military child has shaped my life, moving from house to house, school to school, really does affect a child’s life. So just being able to be represented, let alone selected to receive a scholarship for it is truly an amazing blessing and I could not be more grateful. Also to represent my parents in all of the hard work my father has put towards his navy career and my mother has put into our family. Just to help ease the pain of college debt any way I can to support them. I couldn’t be more proud to say I am their son and represent them by receiving this scholarship.
