As the daughter of an active duty sailor, I am tremendously grateful for the opportunities I get—like this scholarship. This scholarship will allow me to pursue an education at my dream school, The University of Tampa to study what I enjoy most, primary education.

As the second child of four kids, with one singular income, any money I get is helpful and I am so very greatly appreciative of all the donors that donate money to this wonderful foundation. I feel honored and privileged to have been selected for this award. Thank you for the support that this scholarship program gives to the surface warfare families. It is valued by me and the other students that receive this award this year, and in previous years. Receiving this scholarship is an incredible blessing. The financial freedom it provides will enable me to fully dedicate myself to all my studies and make the most of my college experience.
