Both my sister and I have concluded our time at the Governor’s School at Innovation Park and nearly our time at Gainesville High School, gaining quite a deep understanding of math and biology. Because both my sister and I are departing this program and school at the same time, this has put quite a financial load on my parents they have not fully prepared for. Especially as attending universities has gotten more expensive over the years, and these costs being doubled because each of us are attending college, this scholarship has become so meaningful to me and my parents as someone pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
