“He is a wonderful individual who is determined and committed to having a bright future in medicine. He is hardworking and works closely with me as EMT’s. He is great with patients and has a nice rapport with them, helping them feel comfortable in stressful scenarios. He thinks quick on his feet and works well in a prehospital setting, making do with the little time and resources we have with each patient before getting them to the ER. He comes to work every day prepared and balances a difficult school schedule on top of his job. I don’t know many other individuals who are as dedicated to creating as strong of a future for themselves, and the hard work is inspiring. I think he deserves this scholarship as a reward for all that he does daily.”

~ Sydney Villalobos – EMT-Basic

“I want to extend my gratitude to every individual and donor of the Anchor Scholarship Foundation for not only awarding me this scholarship, but contributing to the pursuit of education by all students. The value is truly immeasurable, as you are contributing to the success of the future doctors and engineers, artists and philosophers, that will continue to shape the world into a better place….These scholarships have allowed me to become the person I am today, and for that I am forever grateful.”
